CVS 5/27

Bri & I made a quick CVS trip. Everyone's been talking about getting good coupons from the card scanner so I thought I'd run in today. I only got $1 off CVS hair care product. :(

Oh well. I did do a quick purchase & burned $8 in ecb's.
2 bags Lay's chips 3.99 on sale B1G1 free (for Memorial Day cook-out)
1 CVS hair conditioner .99 (used the $1 scanner coupon=free)
1 Pepsi .99
1 box 100 popsicles 3.99 (for Bri since her throat hurts)
oop= $1.06

I hated to burn the ecb's but I still got $8 in ecb's left on Mike's card.

I love CVS! 5/23 trip

2 Old Spice Body Washes $4/each
-B1G1 free coupon
3 12.6 oz. bags M&M's 1.98/each
-Buy 2 bags get 1 bag free coupon
-$4.99 ecb
total oop: $3.59
got back $8 in ecb's for the Old Spice body washes (woohoo! Money maker trip!)

CVS $3.14 saved $71.47 with coupons & sales

I went to CVS to exchange the tomoato planter for the Topsy Turvy. I read on a coupon message board about how to get free toilet paper at CVS using some vitamin coupons that I had. So, I of course couldn't resist this good deal.

2-Nature's Bounty vitamins (B1G1 sale) 5.99
4-Nature's Bounty vitamins (B1G1 sale) 4.99/ea
3-Cottonelle 12 pk toilet paper 4.99/ea
2-CVS bandaids .99/ea
1-CVS hair conditioner

used 6-$5 Nature's Bounty coupons
used 2-.50 cottonelle coupons
used $1/2 CVS first aid products coupon(coupon scanner)
used $1 CVS hair care product coupon (coupon scanner)

total oop : $3.14

This was a great deal. I paid the tax & only $1 for the 2 boxes of bandaids. The deal works like this. I bought 3 bottles of vitamins (the 3 other bottles were free with the sale) but had $30 in vitamin coupons which created overage to use on the toilet paper making it free. The cashier was new & looked confused but I explained to her that I can use 6 coupons since I bought 6 vitamins even though 3 of the bottles are free with the sale. Luckily the manager was behind me waiting to pay for a drink & spoke up to confirm what I was saying. So, I guess Nature's Bounty paid for my toilet paper. woohoo! Love FREE!

And in case you're wondering-the $71.47 is the total saved on my receipt based on the regualr price of the vitamins & the toilet paper.
The Cottonelle & Bounty is a limit of 3 per household. So the other day I used my CVS card & today I used Mike's card. I may have to see if I can get more vitamin coupons before the sale ends Saturday & get some Bounty this way with his card. Happy Shopping!

used all coupons above + 16.99 ecbs from Transaction #1 + other $15 ecb for online survey.
Total oop: $6.63

It was more oop than I meant to pay. I thought the scanner coupon for the first aid items was for $2 instead of $1, and I miscalculated somewhere. I was thinking $3-4 oop. But still good for all that toilet paper & paper towels.

$65.14 total in products for only $7.21

Another BiLo trip 5/4

Hubby sent me back to BiLo for more chicken breast (.89/lb) since today is the last day of the sale.

I got 3 packs of chicken breasts for $4 & some change each. There was a coupon on each pack for $1 off Velveeta shells & cheese box so I got 3 boxes for $.99/each. Then when I paid I got a catalina register coupon for $2 off my next purchase for purchasing 3 boxes of Velveeta. So I could think of it as actually only paying $.97 for 3 boxes of shells & cheese. My kinda shopping. :)

BiLo 5/4

I didn't get the meal deal when I bought groceries at BiLo the other day. But over the weekend, I found $1.50 coupon on the Mystic Pizza to make the meal deal a good deal. The sale goes off today, so Bri & I headed to BiLo this morning.

Meal Deal:
2-Cheese Mystic Pizzas (used 2-$1.50 off coupons)
1-SH Potato Skins free
1-Pet ice cream free
1-Coke free
(total for meal deal= $6.38)

2-SH 50 ct. plates $1/ea.
1-SH 20 ct. cups $1
1-dozen eggs $.98
1 Faygo drink (Bri) $.38

total spent: $11.06

FYI: I guess we bought some durable eggs. Bri knocked the carton out of the buggy, they landed on the hard floor & not a single egg broke. She said, "we got some good eggs!"
