CVS 8/22

So, I made my early morning trip for paper towels & toilet paper. Not too happy about the oop though. :( I had a scenerio worked out to be under $10, but that got shot all to crap. (lol-good thing I got toilet paper now.)

Here's how it went:

used 2 $3 Glade coupons
used $4 ecb from yesterday
total oop: $.70 (earned $3 ecb)

Transaction #2
1-Bounty 16 ct paper towels $9.99
1-Charmin 16 ct tiolet paper $12.99
3-Puffs box tissues $.99/each
2-M&M's single bags $.89/each (just because I got a coupon for scanning card)
used $.25 Bounty coupon
used $.25 Charmin coupon
used $.25/3 Puffs coupon
used $.50/2 M&M's coupon
used $3 ecb from T#1 & $7.99 ecb from yesterday
tried to use the 30% off coupon but was told I couldn't because I bought all sale items (ugh! what??) I just paid because the cashier was friendly & patient.
total oop: $16.52
I looked the coupon over when I got to the car & sure enough he was right, "not valid on sale items". Darn! Oh well, I hate my oop total, but we have toilet paper & paper towels! And I earned $10 in ecb's to use next trip.

CVS 8/21

I knew I had to get to CVS tonight to get the good deals for 8/22-8/28. There's so many couponers in my area that the stuff goes fast. Since our CVS starts their sales on Saturday afternoon, I always try to go then to get the deals before they're gone. Sure enough, when I walked through the door I saw the "shelf clearers" at work. The Crest toothpaste was almost gone. Only 3 left so I grabbed my limit of 2.
Here's what I got:

used (2) $.75 Crest coupons
used (2) $2.00 Listerine coupons
used $2.00 & $7.99 ecb's from last week

total oop: $1.58 (earned $4 & $5 ecb's)

Transaction #2
1-Blink Gel Tears eye drops $7.99

used $1.50 Blink coupon
used $5.00 ecb from 1st transaction

total oop: $2.05 (earned $7.99 ecb & still have $4 ecb from t#1 = $11.99)

I wanted to get the P&G buy $25 worth get $10 ecb, but the Bounty was not out yet. So, I plan to make an early trip tomorrow morning when I go to get my morning paper. I also got a 30% off purchase coupon from the card scanner machine. Working of my least oop right now. I'll update tomorrow.
